Ingredients

  • 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 –10 slices cheddar cheese or more for extra cheesy sliders
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if desired.
  • In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, oregano, and parsley to make garlic butter.
  • Slice each Hawaiian roll into thirds vertically.
  • Spread the garlic butter evenly on the cut sides of the rolls.
  • Layer cheddar cheese between the rolls, making sure the cheese covers the bread for an even melt.
  • Arrange the sliders on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and melty.
  • Optional: Broil for 30–60 seconds at the end for a crispier top—watch carefully.
  • Serve warm with tomato soup, marinara sauce, or your favorite dip.

Notes

  • These sliders are perfect for kid-friendly lunches, game day snacks, or party platters.
  • For extra melty sliders, combine cheddar with mozzarella or provolone.
  • Cut into smaller portions for appetizer “dippers.”
