Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
Add the cooked sausage, shredded cheese, bread cubes, and salt (if using). Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Bake for 30–45 minutes, or until the casserole is set in the center and lightly golden on top.
Remove from the oven and allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
